The Patient with chronic pain, osteoarthritis, for example..., is consumer of
liquid drugs, with analgesic or anti-inflammatory actions but not without deleterious effects on the human body.
The two versions of Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Mesopuncture, are a treatment option.
Acupuncture, with compact metallic needles inserted into the Acupuncture Points _APs, determined according to the painful area, is an easy option of treatment.
Its effect however is limited to a few days.
• It is sensible to associate to this oriental treatment, the contribution of the Western pharmacopoeia, in the form of liquid drugs of analgesic or anti-inflammatory effect. The daily and useful dose of liquid drug is spread in micro-deposits performed with/without needles into the APs.
Mesopuncture is indeed defined as the injection/deposit of the liquid drug in the AP, creating a dual effect:
• Acupuncture effect or energetic effect, resulting from stimulation of the AP by the chemical structure of the liquid drug or by its volume, in the AP, like any stimulus of the AP (needle, laser, heat, massage etc.).
• Therapeutic effect resulting from the own pharmacologic qualities of the liquid drug injected/deposited.
These two effects, energy stimulation and therapeutic effect are dependent on the speed of the liquid drug elimination from the AP.
Some anti-inflammatory drugs of the Western pharmacopoeia have these two properties:
Micro doses of one of these anti-inflammatory liquid drugs of delayed elimination, injected into APs of the BLADDER meridian, improve significantly the symptomatology of diabetic neuropathy but during only about 30 days, period after which the liquid drug is eliminated.
